Abstract :

Abstract This study has tackled the issue of preventive education in the Holy Quran, clarifying its concept and identifying its basic principles by explaining the general Quaranic approach in establishing the moral society through: enhancing the faithfulness element in people's heart and raising conscience awareness. The study Showed that the preventive education has faithful pillars; such as warning from polytheism and hypocrisy and moral; as warning from the weakness of willingness and deterioration ,and social; such as prohibition of backbiting and malicious gossip as well as the economic pillars; like the prohibition of money interest and reducing weighs. The study highlighted the features of the preventive education through: Firstly: The teachings related to the individual's health and his protection from disease such as the legislation of ablution and body washing as well as fasting imposition and prohibition of squandering. Secondly: The teachings related to community health and its protection from the spreading of epidemics and diseases through the prohibiting of adultery, sexual deviation, eating dead bodies and pork (swine), drinking wine and alcohol. Thirdly: Special teachings for protecting women's chastity by imposing the veil (yashmak), asking permission to enter someone's house and avoiding women's harassment especially eye looking. The study has taken into account the novelty of the subject and established a case of reality by choosing examples that highlight the need for it, in which it is found that the preventive education has an integrated system of objectives and results, taking into account the reality of the individual and society alike, and walk in balance side by side with the requirements of all humanity. The study concluded that the holy Quran is a preventive curriculum or measure before being a therapeutic approach, and in taking his teachings into consideration that would protect one's self and society from all kinds of anticipated or unexpected damages and diseases.
